Hi and welcome to LearnAboutYourWorld.com It is my intention that this site will be a wonderful resource for you and your children, as well as providing entertainment. My desire is to encourage children, and adults too, to look with curiosity and respect at the world around us.
There is much to learn about the world we live in and the important role all species play to maintain a healthy planet; thanks to the Internet this information is readily available to us.
I am currently in the process of creating a series of books for children, all about arthropods (covering insects and invertebrates) which you will find under the Nature tab in the menu above. You will also find a book about outer space under the Science tab in the menu above. This will be an ever-growing site, with books added to the series over time.
Each book in the Arthropod series is made up of two sections. The first section contains a short fictional story that I hope the children will enjoy. The second section contains educational information and images, and links to authority sites.
If you go to the Nature Series and Science Series tabs in the above menu, you will find more information about each of the book topics via links to relevant websites. I’ve also added Videos directly to the page for your convenience and entertainment. I hope you’ll find the time to enjoy them all.

Thanks for taking the time to visit.
Best wishes, Trinity Jordan
A TIP in case you’re accessing this website on a mobile device. Apparently accessing some pages on a mobile device may not work due to memory issues. The fix for this is to go to the browser and clear out your cache; you may have to do this a few times. I had the same problem with my iPad and I found a partial solution on this site: wikihow.com. The instructions are for an iPhone but it will be the same for iPad. However, I still found that I needed to hit the refresh icon on the browser for some pages. This problem appears to be a memory issue and is not restricted to this website. I hope this Tip helps you if you are experiencing similar problems.
