Hi there, I would like to briefly introduce myself and give you a little background.
I am a very proud Nana to 5 gorgeous grandchildren who love learning and being in Nature. Children are awesome – they keep you young.
My interests are varied: I am a keen exponent of living sustainably and harmoniously with the planet and all living creatures.
I love walking in Nature, sustainable architecture, eco-friendly house design, travel, adventures, drawing, photography, reading, being positive, dancing (though getting a bit rusty there) and just plain having a good time in life!
I am a vegetarian (mostly, though known to stray when required) but I also respect the rights of others to eat meat. Of course, I would like to see less cruelty to animals intended for our consumption and hopefully that will happen soon.
I try to minimise my impact on the Planet wherever possible. I am aware that travelling does leave a bigger footprint than I would like, but I am also hopeful that with the resourcefulness of humans, we will develop a more sustainable method of travelling sooner rather than later.
After all, we need to expand our horizons which in turn leads to greater knowledge, respect, empathy, acceptance of other cultures and beliefs … and just plain fun!
Please join with me on this adventure – to life and learning.
